JavaScript Job: Front End Developer

Bristol – hybrid

An innovative environmentally-friendly company is currently in the heart of their new product deployment and are looking for a Frontend Developer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining the user-facing interfaces that enable their customers to interact with our products and services.

You will work closely with their designers, backend developers, and other stakeholders to build responsive, intuitive, and engaging web applications.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and product managers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for functional frontend development.
• Optimize and maintain existing frontend systems, ensuring high performance, accessibility, and responsiveness across multiple devices and platforms.
• Use best practices for web security and data protection to safeguard against potential threats and attacks.
• Collaborate with the backend development team to design and implement APIs for seamless integration with client-side applications.
• Conduct usability testing and gather feedback from end-users to continuously improve the user experience.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging frontend development technologies, industry trends, and best practices, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Shopify and continuous delivery.
• Familiarity with SEO principles.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills, with attention to detail and commitment to writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
